Notice of receiving application for trade defence exemption in March 2021

(Daiphuc corp) - The Trade Defence Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade) has just issued a notice requesting businesses that meet the conditions of exemption to submit an exemption request to apply anti-dumping and anti-subsidy measures.
 


Specifically, on 20 March 2020, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued the Decision No. 918/QD-BCT on the extension of trade defence measure application for imported steel billets and long steel products with HS code 7207.11.00. ; 7207.19.00; 7207.20.29; 7207.20 and the Decision No. 920/QD-BCT on extending the application of anti-trade defence evasion measures for imported rolled steel and wire steel products with HS code: 7213.91.90; 7217.10.10; 7217.10.29, etc. Accordingly, the Trade Protection Department requests enterprises that meet the conditions of exemption to submit an exemption request to apply anti-dumping and anti-subsidy measures in accordance with the provisions of Article 14 and Appendix 03 of the Circular 37/2019/TT-BCT.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade notes that, in case the enterprise that has been granted an exemption for 2021 is about to use up the granted amount of exemption, the enterprise can submit an additional exemption dossier as prescribed in Clause 4, Article 16 of Circular 37/2019/TT-BCT at any time in 2021.
 
Pursuant to Clause 3, Article 16 of Circular 37/2019/TT-BCT, enterprises are requested to send application for exemption to the online public service portal at https://dichvucong.moit.gov.vn or to the Trade Defense Department before 5:00 p.m. on 2 April 2021.
